Hello world!

Blessings! We are the Kruckenberg Family, my name is Anna Kruckenberg and welcome to my blog. Let me start by introducing you to the rest of the Kruckenberg clan. My husband’s name is Trevor Kruckenberg. We first met in 2016 when he came into the store where I was working and bought a honeybun and a milkshake! How sweet! Though I had a feeling that wasn’t the only reason he came into the store. I first noticed him on our high school graduation day and came to find out, our jobs were next door to each other. I had mentioned to a coworker of mine at the time, that I thought he was good looking. It turned out that was his neighbor which is crazy. In 2019 we tied the knot and in 2021 we became first-time parents. Our son’s name is TJ, which is short for Trevor Junior. This year we welcomed our daughter Analynn into the world. The name Kruckenberg you may ask is German origin.

The title of my blog is The Spectrum and Spirituality. The spectrum is because shortly after our son was born, my husband and I started noticing signs that he could be on the spectrum. However, he is still too young to know what level on the spectrum. Spirituality in the title is because we are a Christian family and strong in our faith.

My goal for this blog is to share my experiences, and how I lean on my faith to navigate raising our son. I pray that our story will be an inspiration and encouragement for other parents and those who have kids with special needs.
